答：守安息日这一吩咐，特别指向家长和其他尊长，这是因为：
（1） 他们不仅有责任自己遵守，还有责任监督那些处在其负责范围之内的人予以遵守；
（2） 而且，还因为他们经常有占用他们的时间，拦阻他们守安息日的倾向（出20:10；书24:15；尼13:15－17；耶 17:20－22；出23:12）。
