答：在第四條誡中，吩咐所有的人將上帝在聖經中所指定的時間，都向祂分 別為聖，予以遵守，祂特別指明七日中的一整天守為聖日；從世界之初到基督復活，這一日為一周的第七日；此後便以每週的第一日為聖日，直到世界的末了；這就 是基督徒的安息日（申5:12－14； 創2:2－3；林前16:1－2；徒20:7；太5:17－18；賽56:2，4，6－7），在新約聖經中稱之為主日（啟1:10）。
