答：對未重生的人，道德律的用處，是在於：

（1）喚醒他們的良知，使他們逃離將來的憤怒（提前1:9－10）；

（2）促使他們歸向基督（加3:24）；

（3）如果他們繼續處於罪境之中，繼續行罪路，就使他們無可推諉（羅1:20，比較羅2:15）；

（4）並處於罪所帶來的咒詛之下（加3:10）。
