168問：聖餐是什麼？
答：聖餐是新約的聖禮。我們在其中照耶穌基督的吩咐，分發並領受餅酒， 祂的受死在其中顯明出來（路22:20）。
（1） 那些按理領受的人吃喝祂的體與血，得屬靈的滋養，在恩典中長進（太26:26－28；林前11:23－26）；
（2） 他們與基督的聯合和交通得以堅固（林前10:16）；
（3） 作為奧秘身體的肢體,他們的感恩（林前11:24）、與上帝的聖約（林 前10:14－16，21）、彼此之間的愛與團契，都得以見證並更新（林前10:17）。

答: 主的晚餐是新約的聖禮，在其中按照耶穌基督的定規，以餅和杯的分發與領受，來表明他的死；
(1) 這是以他的身體與寶血，來餵養按理領受與主相交的人，使他們靈命在恩典中得到養育成長；
(2) 堅固他們與主的聯合與相交團契；
(3) 見證與更新: 他們對神的信靠委身、他們對彼此的相愛團契，因為他們是同一奧秘身體的肢體。

For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do show the Lord's death till he come.
[1079] 1 Corinthians 10:16. The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?
[1080] 1 Corinthians 11:24. And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
[1081] 1 Corinthians 10:14-16, 21. Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry. I speak as to wise men; judge ye what I say. The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?... Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.
