43問：基督怎樣履行先知的職分？
答：基督藉着祂的聖靈和聖言（彼前1:10－12），在各個時代，以各種不同的施行方式（來1:1－2），在關乎他們的造就和救贖的一切事宜上（徒20:32；弗4:11－13；約20:31），向教會啟示（約1:18）上帝全備的旨意（約15:15），如此便履行了先知的職分。

彼前1:10-12 論到這救恩，那預先說你們要得恩典的眾先知早已詳細地尋求考察；就是考察在他們心裏基督的靈，預先證明基督受苦難，後來得榮耀，是指着什麼時候，並怎樣的時候。
來1:1-2 神既在古時藉着眾先知多次多方地曉諭列祖,就在這末世，藉着他兒子曉諭我們；又早已立他為承受萬有的，也曾藉着他創造諸世界。
徒20:32 如今我把你們交託 神和他恩惠的道；這道能建立你們，叫你們和一切成聖的人同得基業。
弗4:11-13 他所賜的，有使徒，有先知，有傳福音的，有牧師和教師；為要成全聖徒，各盡其職，建立基督的身體，直等到我們眾人在真道上同歸於一，認識 神的兒子，得以長大成人，滿有基督長成的身量；
約20:31 但記這些事，要叫你們信耶穌是基督，是 神的兒子，並且叫你們信了他，就可以因他的名得生命。
約1:18 從來沒有人看見 神，只有在父懷裏的獨生子將他表明出來。
約15:15 以後我不再稱你們為僕人，因僕人不知道主人所作的事；我乃稱你們為朋友，因我從我父所聽見的，已經都告訴你們了。
