183问：我们当为谁祷告？

答：我们当：

（1）为基督在地上的整个教会祷告（弗6:18；诗28:9）；

（2）为公民政府的长官（提前2:1－2），为牧者（西4:3）祷告；

（3）为我们自己（创32:11），为我们的弟兄（雅5:16），也为我们的敌人祷告（太5:44）；

（4）为各种活着的人（提前2:1－2），也为将要来到这个世界的人祷告（约17:20；撒下7:29）；

（5）但是，不可为死人祷告（撒下12:21－23），也不可为那些已经知道犯了至于死的罪的人祷告（约壹5:16）。

[1168] Ephesians 6:18. Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. Psalm 28:9. Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance: feed them also, and lift them up for ever.

But now he is dead, wherefore should I fast? can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.

[1177] 1 John 5:16. If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.
