問191: 在第二祈求中，我們所禱告的是甚麼?

答: 在第二祈求「願禰的國降臨」中，我們承認: 我們自己與全人類的本性，都是臣服在罪與惡者統治之下。所以我們禱告:

(1) 罪和惡者的國度被摧毀，福音傳遍全世界，猶太人蒙召得救，外邦人的數目添滿了；

(2) 教會裡有足夠的福音聖職人員，與聖道事工，除去一切腐敗得潔淨，得到政府官員的鼓勵與支持；

(3) 祈求基督的聖道事工得以純淨的執行，有效的使那些仍在罪中的人悔改歸正，使那些已經悔改歸正的人得到堅固、安慰、建立；

(4) 祈求基督此時此地在我們心中掌權治理，並且祈求祂快快再來，使我們與祂一同作王，直到永遠

(5) 祈求祂樂意在全世界施行祂大能的國度，以最佳方式促成這些目的。
