问191: 在第二祈求中，我们所祷告的是甚么?

答: 在第二祈求“愿祢的国降临”中，我们承认: 我们自己与全人类的本性，都是臣服在罪与恶者统治之下。所以我们祷告:

(1) 罪和恶者的国度被摧毁，福音传遍全世界，犹太人蒙召得救，外邦人的数目添满了；

(2) 教会里有足够的福音圣职人员，与圣道事工，除去一切腐败得洁净，得到政府官员的鼓励与支持；

(3) 祈求基督的圣道事工得以纯净的执行，有效的使那些仍在罪中的人悔改归正，使那些已经悔改归正的人得到坚固、安慰、建立；

(4) 祈求基督此时此地在我们心中掌权治理，并且祈求祂快快再来，使我们与祂一同作王，直到永远

(5) 祈求祂乐意在全世界施行祂大能的国度，以最佳方式促成这些目的。
