25 問：人墮落後，陷入怎樣的罪惡景況中？

答：人墮落後，陷入罪惡的景況，是：

（一）承擔亞當首次犯罪的罪究，

（二）喪失被造之時的原有仁義，

（三）人性全然的敗壞，並繼續傾向一切邪惡，所以對一切屬靈的良善只有厭惡，抵擋，又全然無能。這就是通常所說的「原罪」，並由此罪性產生出所有思想與行

為上的罪過。

Q. 25. Wherein consisteth the sinfulness of that estate whereinto man fell?

A. The sinfulness of that estate whereinto man fell, consisteth in the guilt of Adam's first sin, the want of that righteousness wherein he was created, and the corruption of his nature, whereby he is utterly indisposed, disabled, and made opposite unto all that is spiritually good, and wholly inclined to all evil, and that continually; which is commonly called original sin, and from which do proceed all actual transgressions.

6.4由於這與生聚來的敗壞，我們對一切的良善全無意願、毫無能力、全然反對，並且完全傾向所有邪惡；我們從這敗壞罪性中，衍生出本身所行的所有過犯。

6.5在今生，此敗壞罪性仍存留在已蒙重生之人裡面。雖然此敗壞罪性，借著基督得赦免且被治死，但是此罪性與其所生發的一切活動，實在真是罪惡。

6.6每一個罪 (不論是原罪或本罪) 都是違犯上帝公義的律法，也是悖逆上帝的律法；因此，每一個罪按照其性質，招致罪究歸在罪人身上。罪人因此緣故必定遭受上帝的忿怒與律法的咒詛，結果服在死權之下，遭受一切靈命的、今生的、永遠的愁苦。
