25.4 這有形大公教會的可見性，有時較為明顯，有時較為隱蔽。這大公教會的組成分子是在各地的教會，個別教會有的比較純正，有的比較不純正，這要看所教導並持守的福音教義、所執行的典章法規、所舉行的公眾崇拜，其中純正程度的多寡而定。

4. This catholic church hath been sometimes more, sometimes less visible. And particular churches, which are members thereof, are more or less pure, according as the doctrine of the gospel is taught and embraced, ordinances administered, and public worship performed more or less purely in them.

9 啟二、三

啟 2:1 「你要寫信給以弗所教會的使者，說：『那右手拿着七星，在七個金燈台中間行走的，說：啟 2:2 我知道你的行為、勞碌、忍耐，也知道你不能容忍惡人。你也曾試驗那自稱為使徒卻不是使徒的，看出他們是假的來。啟 2:3 你也能忍耐，曾為我的名勞苦，並不乏倦。啟 2:4 然而有一件事我要責備你，就是你把起初的愛心離棄了。啟 2:5 所以應當回想你是從哪裏墜落的，並要悔改，行起初所行的事。你若不悔改，我就臨到你那裏，把你的燈台從原處挪去。啟 2:6 然而你還有一件可取的事，就是你恨惡尼哥拉一黨人的行為，這也是我所恨惡的。啟 2:7 聖靈向眾教會所說的話，凡有耳的，就應當聽。得勝的，我必將　神樂園中生命樹的果子賜給他吃。』啟 2:8 「你要寫信給士每拿教會的使者，說：『那首先的，末後的，死過又活的，說：啟 2:9 我知道你的患難，你的貧窮(你卻是富足的)，也知道那自稱是猶太人所說的毀謗話，其實他們不是猶太人，乃是撒但一會的人。啟 2:10 你將要受的苦你不用怕。魔鬼要把你們中間幾個人下在監里，叫你們被試煉，你們必受患難十日。你務要至死忠心，我就賜給你那生命的冠冕。啟 2:11 聖靈向眾教會所說的話，凡有耳的，就應當聽。得勝的，必不受第二次死的害。』啟 2:12 「你要寫信給別迦摩教會的使者，說：『那有兩刃利劍的，說：啟 2:13 我知道你的居所，就是有撒但座位之處；當我忠心的見證人安提帕在你們中間，撒但所住的地方被殺之時，你還堅守我的名，沒有棄絕我的道。啟 2:14 然而有幾件事我要責備你，因為在你那裏，有人服從了巴蘭的教訓；這巴蘭曾教導巴勒將絆腳石放在以色列人面前，叫他們吃祭偶像之物，行姦淫的事。啟 2:15 你那裏也有人照樣服從了尼哥拉一黨人的教訓。啟 2:16 所以你當悔改；若不悔改，我就快臨到你那裏，用我口中的劍攻擊他們。啟 2:17 聖靈向眾教會所說的話，凡有耳的，就應當聽。得勝的，我必將那隱藏的嗎哪賜給他，並賜他一塊白石，石上寫着新名；除了那領受的以外，沒有人能認識。』啟 2:18 「你要寫信給推雅推喇教會的使者，說：『那眼目如火焰，腳象光明銅的　神之子說：啟 2:19 我知道你的行為、愛心、信心、勤勞、忍耐；又知道你末後所行的善事，比起初所行的更多。啟 2:20 然而有一件事我要責備你，就是你容讓那自稱是先知的婦人耶洗別教導我的僕人，引誘他們行姦淫，吃祭偶像之物。啟 2:21 我曾給她悔改的機會，她卻不肯悔改她的淫行。啟 2:22 看哪！我要叫她病臥在床。那些與她行淫的人，若不悔改所行的，我也要叫他們同受大患難。啟 2:23 我又要殺死她的黨類(「黨類」原文作「兒女」)，叫眾教會知道，我是那察看人肺腑心腸的，並要照你們的行為報應你們各人。啟 2:24 至於你們推雅推喇其餘的人，就是一切不從那教訓，不曉得他們素常所說撒但深奧之理的人，我告訴你們，我不將別的擔子放在你們身上。啟 2:25 但你們已經有的，總要持守，直等到我來。啟 2:26 那得勝又遵守我命令到底的，我要賜給他權柄制伏列國；啟 2:27 他必用鐵杖轄管他們(「轄管」原文作「牧」)，將他們如同窯戶的瓦器打得粉碎，象我從我父領受的權柄一樣。啟 2:28 我又要把晨星賜給他。啟 2:29 聖靈向眾教會所說的話，凡有耳的，就應當聽。』」 (和合本 CUV)

Rev 2:1 Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks; Rev 2:2 I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil, and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars, Rev 2:3 And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted. Rev 2:4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Rev 2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. Rev 2:6 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate. Rev 2:7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God. Rev 2:8 And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive; Rev 2:9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. Rev 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer, behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days, be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. Rev 2:11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death. Rev 2:12 And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges; Rev 2:13 I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is, and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth. Rev 2:14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication. Rev 2:15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes, which thing I hate. Rev 2:16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. Rev 2:17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it. Rev 2:18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass; Rev 2:19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first. Rev 2:20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. Rev 2:21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. Rev 2:22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. Rev 2:23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts, and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. Rev 2:24 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden. Rev 2:25 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come. Rev 2:26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations, Rev 2:27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers, even as I received of my Father. 啟 3:1 「你要寫信給撒狄教會的使者，說：『那有　神的七靈和七星的，說：我知道你的行為，按名你是活的，其實是死的。啟 3:2 你要警醒，堅固那剩下將要衰微的(「衰微」原文作「死」)；因我見你的行為，在我　神面前，沒有一樣是完全的。啟 3:3 所以要回想你是怎樣領受，怎樣聽見的；又要遵守，並要悔改。若不警醒，我必臨到你那裏，如同賊一樣。我幾時臨到，你也決不能知道。啟 3:4 然而在撒狄你還有幾名是未曾污穢自己衣服的，他們要穿白衣與我同行，因為他們是配得過的。啟 3:5 凡得勝的，必這樣穿白衣，我也必不從生命冊上塗抹他的名；且要在我父面前，和我父眾使者面前，認他的名。啟 3:6 聖靈向眾教會所說的話，凡有耳的，就應當聽。』啟 3:7 「你要寫信給非拉鐵非教會的使者，說：『那聖潔、真實、拿着大衛的鑰匙、開了就沒有人能關，關了就沒有人能開的，說：啟 3:8 我知道你的行為，你略有一點力量，也曾遵守我的道，沒有棄絕我的名。看哪！我在你面前給你一個敞開的門，是無人能關的。啟 3:9 那撒但一會的，自稱是猶太人，其實不是猶太人，乃是說謊話的，我要使他們來在你腳前下拜，也使他們知道我是已經愛你了。啟 3:10 你既遵守我忍耐的道，我必在普天下人受試煉的時候，保守你免去你的試煉。啟 3:11 我必快來，你要持守你所有的，免得人奪去你的冠冕。啟 3:12 得勝的，我要叫他在我　神殿中作柱子，他也必不再從那裏出去；我又要將我　神的名和我　神城的名(這城就是從天上、從我　神那裏降下來的新耶路撒冷)，並我的新名，都寫在他上面。啟 3:13 聖靈向眾教會所說的話，凡有耳的，就應當聽。』啟 3:14 「你要寫信給老底嘉教會的使者，說：『那為阿們的，為誠信真實見證的，在　神創造萬物之上為元首的，說：啟 3:15 我知道你的行為，你也不冷也不熱；我巴不得你或冷或熱。啟 3:16 你既如溫水，也不冷也不熱，所以我必從我口中把你吐出去。啟 3:17 你說：我是富足，已經發了財，一樣都不缺；卻不知道你是那困苦、可憐、貧窮、瞎眼、赤身的。啟 3:18 我勸你向我買火煉的金子，叫你富足；又買白衣穿上，叫你赤身的羞恥不露出來；又買眼藥擦你的眼睛，使你能看見。啟 3:19 凡我所疼愛的，我就責備管教他；所以你要發熱心，也要悔改。啟 3:20 看哪！我站在門外叩門，若有聽見我聲音就開門的，我要進到他那裏去，我與他，他與我一同坐席。啟 3:21 得勝的，我要賜他在我寶座上與我同坐，就如我得了勝，在我父的寶座上與他同坐一般。啟 3:22 聖靈向眾教會所說的話，凡有耳的，就應當聽。』」 (和合本 CUV)

Rev 3:1 And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead. Rev 3:2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found thy works perfect before God. Rev 3:3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. Rev 3:4 Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white, for they are worthy. Rev 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. Rev 3:7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth; Rev 3:8 I know thy works, behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it, for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. Rev 3:9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. Rev 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Rev 3:11 Behold, I come quickly, hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. Rev 3:12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out, and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God, and I will write upon him my new name. Rev 3:13 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. Rev 3:14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; Rev 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot, I would thou wert cold or hot. Rev 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Rev 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked, Rev 3:18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. Rev 3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten, be zealous therefore, and repent. Rev 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock, if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. Rev 3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
