7月27日 [2.2.19-20a] 屬血氣的人在屬靈的事上是愚拙的

雖然人的理智已經被罪污染，不認識真神，然而我們卻沉醉於自以為是的虛偽里，不願意承認在屬靈的事上是全然盲目愚昧。所以，我們用聖經來見證此事實，而不用人的理智。約翰福音1:4-5「生命在他裡頭，這生命就是人的光。光照在黑暗裡，黑暗卻不接受光」。這顯示:人的心靈被神的光照耀，總是有普遍啟示的光照，即使若如微弱火花，也不至於熄滅。雖然如此，人的理智還是不接受真光，不認識神。

為何會這樣?因為人的心智自以為聰明，然而就認識神而言，全是盲目無用。聖靈在約1:5稱屬血氣的人是「黑暗」，等於立刻否認他們有任何屬靈領悟的能力。所以約1:13宣告: 基督的信徒「不是從血氣生的、不是從情慾生的、也不是從人意生的，乃是從神生的」。此即表明:屬血氣的人沒有上頭來的智慧，不能認識神和他的屬性，除非他有聖靈的內住與光照(林前2:14-16)。正如主基督所見證的，彼得能認他是基督，是天父特別的啟示(太16:17)。

天父藉著聖靈的重生，所賜給選民的一切(多3:5)，就是罪人的本性所缺乏的。這是不可爭辯的事實，我們若相信此真理，就明白世人在屬靈上的盲目，而沒有任何疑惑了!凡是忠信的人，都會根據聖經來宣告:「因為在你那裡有生命的源頭，在你的光中，我們必得見光」(詩36:9)。使徒保羅也同樣見證: 「若不是聖靈感動，沒有人能說耶穌是主」(林前12:3)。
