Rev. Gordon Ling

Gordon W. Ling is the Pastor for the English congregation. He has been serving at The Home of Christ Church in San Francisco since 1997. God called him to the ministry in his twenties and He used many people and institutes to train him. Gordon received his B.A. degree from Simpson College majoring in Psychology and minoring in Biblical Literature. He went on to Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Chicago to get his Master of Divinity degree. After graduation in 1992, Gordon has been serving as a minister till now. Gordon feels his gifts are caring and counseling. God has been gracious to use him to impact many who went through different counseling related issues. Gordon also enjoys music and has been playing guitar since he was a kid. He is also passionate in studying the Bible. He enjoys researching and preaching. Gordon is married to Shirley and is extremely thankful that God has given Shirley to him as a partner in the ministry, in the harvest, and in life. His favorite motto is “To know Christ and to make Him known.” and his favorite Bible chapter is John 21.
